The machine is designed for wood testing applications, doing both static load and dynamic load test. The static load tests include: flexure, across grain in tension, compression, and cleavage. The dynamic load tests include: impact, flexure, and impact compression. By the addition of further accessories, the machine can perform the following test:

Shear and cutting, modulus of elasticity of flexure compression, Brinell Hardness Tester, Wood Hardness, Numbers of Annual Rings Per cm, Summerwood Rate and volume.
