Sensor Tipe Tekanan Langsung dengan Teknologi Silicon On Sapphire (SOS) -
Transduser tekanan memiliki film tipis silikon (pertumbuhan epitaxial) yang terbentuk pada papan kristal safir (Al2O3 tunggal). Dengan menggunakan film tipis silikon ini, grat strain semikonduktor silikon memiliki kabel resistansi listrik yang terhubung ke papan sapphire, yang terdiri dari sensor ideal yang sangat stabil secara fisik dan elektrik. Sekitar 60 unit digunakan di setiap roket H-IIA.
