The design of this measuring head was selected to satisfy the special needs of the optical fibers industry. In the field of research and quality control its applications range from the crucible to re-reeling stations, from the extrusion process through cable jacketing and twisting machines, etc.


Feature

  • for measurement of optical fibres, sensitive wires up to 3.5mm Ø
  • easy-running pulleys with precision bearings; with polished, large diameter contact surface
  • gentle on the material; easy to thread even while the process is running
  • effective overload protection means high availability for customer operations
  • very small angle of contact, only 5°
  • fiber is not diverted from its path
  • high precision and excellent long-term stability
